About The Exchange
The Exchange is “building a community of makers”. Our home – Erith’s Old Library – was opened in 1906 – it was a place that was designed and built by local people, using local bricks and materials, and which helped to bring people together and give them access to knowledge for over 100 years. Today, we use that story to inspire what we do today – we focus on craft, community and empowerment.
