Build a Home for Hedgehogs
Saturday 26 April | 11:00am - 1:00pm | Here Comes the Sun 2025
Join us and help to make a series of Hedgehog Homes that will be housed across public spaces in North Bexley, creating safe havens and safe route through our built-up borough.
Whilst making these houses, you will learn basic woodworking techniques and learn about the habitats of the UK’s favourite animal, the hedgehog.
Suitable for ages 8+
Part of THE HERDS: HABITATS & HOMES programme
THE HERDS is public art and climate action on an unprecedented scale – an ambitious coming together of culture and climate.
From April to August 2025, life-size puppet animals will travel a 20,000km route from the Congo Basin to the Arctic Circle, symbolizing their flight from climate disaster.
THE HERDS unites leading artists and organisations committed to driving change, including The Exchange…
Supported by The Art Fund, The Exchange’s Habitats & Homes programme explores the habitats of some of our favourite animals and the craft of puppet-making.
This event is free however, as spaces are limited, we do advise you to reserve your place. If you know you won’t be able to attend, please let us know in advance so that we can offer your spot to someone else. Thanks!
