Come, hear and see what The Exchange has been up to over the past year and give your views on the plans ahead. There will also be workshops and activities to take part in. The day is open to everyone but the voting is restricted to current members. But! Don’t fret. We will be discussing at this meeting how we open up membership to more people in the local community, so your vote can count too!
Schedule for the day:
Brick Workshop - 10 - 4pm - Brick making workshop with Local Works Studio, make sure to bring your upper body strength! It’s going to be a lot of fun! The materials they will be using are waste materials from local building sites; and the bricks that you make will be used in the wonderful new garden space, creating new areas for seating and quiet outdoor reflection
Print Workshop - 11 - 1pm - Join Colin - our Print Workshop Partner for a drawing workshop exploring and developing drawings on different themes, including "Seasons", "Heritage", "Flora + Fauna", "Celebration/Festivals" and "Home".
Anyone taking part, will be free to continue coming to these weekly sessions - beyond the Open Day - to continue developing their ideas towards manufacturing stage.
Discuss + Decolonise - 12 - 2pm - We will be joined by Ceramist Bisila Noha who will be leading the discussion on the word "Crafts". Space is limited for this workshop so make sure to reserve you free space by clicking on the button below.

AGM - 2-3pm - Information will be available throughout the day about the annual budget, impact statement of the exchange’s last (very tough but we survived!) year, vote on the new board members and information on how to become a member (and to actually get a vote!).
We are recruiting for 3 different roles, so why not take a look to see whether one is right for you!
We cannot wait to see you!!
