Join the world renowned embroidery house - Hand and Lock - on the next Textiles Project at The Exchange.

The project is to create a set of embroidered coasters which will be first displayed at The Exchange, and then sold to raise money for future textiles projects. Participants will work alongside Hand and Lock’s designers and embroiderers to develop their designs, and translate them into stitch, gaining skills from the experts.

Hand & Lock are London’s premier embroidery house providing embellishment services to the Royal Family, top European design houses, the Royal Armed Forces, Savile Row and members of the public.

The Textile Workshop will be open between 10am and 1pm on the dates below. To take part in this project, you must be able to commit to the following dates and times:

14 November, 11am - 1pm (initial design session)

21 November, 11am - 1pm (final design session)

28 November, 11am - 2pm (embroidery + skills training)

05 December, 11am - 2pm (embroidery + skills training)

To join this project there is a £5 joining fee to secure your place.
