Finding Colour in Autumn

Join Rachael Pilston, textile artist and co-founder of Peckham Craft Show, for an introductory natural dye workshop exploring the colours of autumn. Using dyestuffs foraged from your kitchen, garden or the local park, you will learn how to dye your textiles at home. Rachael will introduce you to plant colour through the process of bundle dyeing and then you will make your own dye pots using your foraged plants. You will leave the session with plant-dyed textile and paper samples, and some useful notes for your next dye project.

This workshop is suitable for beginners or for those who have dyed before and want to build their knowledge.

Ages 10+ (under 16s need to be accompanied by an adult).
