Lauriann's STEM Club is excited to present a three-week pop-up STEM Careers Surgery at The Exchange!
If you have a passion for Science, Technology, Engineering or Maths, or are simply interested in finding out more about what a career in these fields might look like for you, then come on down!
These surgeries are designed for high school students - in particular women, and young people from minority ethnic backgrounds - who are looking for the following support:
extracurricular catch up sessions in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths)
guidance or information direct from people working in STEM industries about what to expect from these lines of work
CV writing support and STEM careers advice
At the event there will be people to talk to, workshops to take part in, as well as free STEM-related giveaways and more!
There will be three two-hour August sessions (all starting at 12pm), each with a particular focus:
-WK1 (August 07) session1: Careers
-WK2 (August 14) session 2: Science & Technology
-WK3 (August 21) session 3: Engineering & Maths

Lauriann is a STEM Ambassador and a passionate Civil Engineer. She works with young people to ensure that paths like hers, into engineering, are followed by many more women and people of colour. Lauriann is also a member of The Development Lab - a space and programme for local people to develop projects and businesses that have a social cause.
