Ken Chamberlain, long-term Chair of the local history society and Exchange volunteer, is back to give a series of illustrated talks on Erith and the surrounding area after a popular series of events last year. Come to hear the story of the part of the high street from Compton Place to the White Hart as it used to be - the story includes three pubs, a cottage hospital, public hall, two departmental stores, and multis like Boots, and Burtons as well as several other shops of various kinds.
