LOCAL HISTORY TALK: ERITH GOES TO WAR

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS HAS BEEN POSTPONED to WEDNESDAY 28 FEBRUARY.

Ken Chamberlain, long-term Chair of the local history society and Exchange volunteer, is back to give a series of illustrated talks on Erith and the surrounding area. Erith’s industrial hub made it a key component in war efforts, however its Thameside location also made it a prime target during Luftwaffe Strikes. Join Ken to hear all about Erith’s preparation for war during the years of 1938-1940.
