LSEC Exhibition: A CULMINATION of Events

Students studying Art and Design, Media and Animation Btec programmes at LSEC Bexley are delighted to present the culmination of their years work as an exhibition.

Selected works from throughout the year are included in a wide range of media and formats including Digital works, Photography, Painting, Printmaking, 3D, Drawing and textiles. Students aim to showcase their ideas, skills and diversity in response to project briefs.

For Art and Design students, key project themes this year have been ‘Turning London Purple’, an exciting challenge by TFL to mark the opening of the Elizabeth Line from Abbey Wood at Lesnes Abbey. Students have responded to the rich history of the site and applied the TFL purple brief to their works to create the desired impact.

Earlier in the year they responded to ‘Freedom to Be’ a student lead event at The Cross Keys Pub in partnership with the Exchange.

Media and Animation students have been working on several projects which include a collaboration with the NHS and Bexley council creating video content for both their: Get Your Vaccine campaign and an on-going Mental health campaign. Our Media students have also worked on a number of different projects with different outcomes which includes, Short films, Animations, Unity Games, Product and poster designs, Podcasts and more.
