This illustrated talk from Ken Chamberlain, long-term Chair of the local history society, will explore the history of the area that was known as Lessness Heath until the middle of the 19th century. Belvedere boasted a Manor House – with a fascinating history; a public hall; a beautiful mid 19th century church; and a large selection of Victorian Villas. It was also the home of a murderer and a spy.
