Isobel is a gardener and plant dyer using grown and foraged plants to create hand-dyed textiles.
In this hands-on workshop, you will be taught how to dye your own textiles. Isobel will also explain the simple steps of how to prepare your fabric before dyeing by mordanting and scouring, so that the dye is fixed and permanent. All materials will be provided, including a worksheet with the key information from the workshop. This is a beginner friendly workshop, giving you the confidence to continue experimenting with your local plants and plant dyeing practice at home.
